You Make it Happen
We need help delivering some of the best Trail Running events in the UK. We are always on the lookout for the right event makers, to help us deliver the best possible experience for our competitors. Use the form below to become a Maverick.
Once you have completed the form, we will get in touch with you via email and allocate you to a staffing role. Sometimes we receive lots of interest on certain events so it may be that we are not able to allocate you a role for your chosen event, however we will do our best to fit you in! Please keep an eye out for a follow up email from us, this will be approximately 4 weeks before the event you have expressed interest in.
Please use the links below to jump to the relevant sections.
Volunteering at an Event
Anyone who helps out for the full day events will receive Race entry to the value of the event volunteered at. Original/Dark = £49 and Ultra = £89. Your Race entry code will be sent to you by email within 48hrs of you helping at an event.
There is also the option to 'help then run’ if you wanted to take part in the event, and for this we would give you free entry into the event for helping us out in the morning. If the event has a wave start, you will only be able to run in the race of the last wave, which is usually the 5km -10km race route.
Our volunteer job roles can be found below.
All volunteers must be aged 18 or older.
Event Day
If you are coming to work at Maverick Race, then you will also need to come prepared. We will aim not to cancel any events for rain, wind, snow, or even sunshine! It’s therefore imperative that you come well equipped, with some of the following items: Waterproof clothing, footwear, warm clothing, packed lunch, umbrella, and mobile phone. We will provide you with a high visibility vest so that you are visible to our participants, and other event site users.
We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you into the Maverick family.
